First ever documented evidence of sidewalk chairs mating.
At 3:23am on the morning of Monday, November 9, legendary sidewalk furniture photographer Steve Duggins snapped this incredible image of two faux leather chairs mating beside a box spring and mattress, which they apparently fell off of in the heat of the moment.
“I waited, poised behind a set of trash cans just across the sidewalk for five hours, watching them get each other in the mood,” explains Duggins. “Crouched under a discarded carpet, my knees aching, I didn’t think I’d last until they did the actual deed. Then, they just attacked each other like a couple of wild animals. Within five minutes, it was over. Just like that. The male chair fell asleep. The female chair started texting her friends. Just an incredible sight.”
