In a hectic city like NYC, residents need to keep a tight schedule and remind themselves and each other of pressing obligations. With all of the new technology changing the way people think and consume information, it’s nice to see the bulletin board is still part of our communities. At least for now.

Yet another microwave is left abandoned on the sidewalks of New York City. There was a time when microwaves where a big deal. Now they’re just a big hassle to New Yorkers changing addresses… and kitchens.

This fire extinguisher was just sitting on the sidewalk, apparently waiting to be taken away by the sanitation department. Or perhaps the fire department. Either way, it’s dusty, so it hasn’t been deployed very often, if at all — a good thing indeed.
Anyone know if these things just expire? Why else would someone throw away a fire extinguisher?
